Right now I’m really into old
rocker tees, but every time I find one I like, it’s always so expensive! Not
everyone can throw down $40 for a t-shirt, so I took it upon myself to make one
on my own.
It was actually pretty
simple; all you need is a black t-shirt, bleach, and a pair of scissors, and a bucket to dip your shirt in. For the black t-shirt I went to Target and picked one up in the men's department for only $11.99. I find a lot of great t-shirts in the men's department, and most of the time they're cheaper than they are in the juniors' department. Happy shopping!
First I cut the t-shirt and added a few small holes for a “distressed” look. Then I dipped the bottom in bleach, laid it in the sun to dry, and VOILA! I had the t-shirt I had been looking for, for less than half the price!
Hope you all have a happy and safe new year!
XOXO, Alex
P.S. Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, life has been pretty crazy! But I promise it won't happen again :)
